5" D x 100' L Retrofit Flex Protector Roll

FLEX PROTECTORS isolate selected piping sections such as flexible connections from the surrounding ground or backfill, thereby entirely eliminating the need to cathodically protect these products.

FLEX PROTECTORS are highly resistant to petroleum based fuels and offer long-term resistance to corrosive soils. Their unique polymer formulation insures long service life. Unlike cathodic protection, regular inspections by a “CATHODIC PROTECTION TESTER” and the resulting paperwork/documentation are NOT required with FLEX PROTECTOR. Due to their unique ability to “shrink fit” and to conform to various dimensions, there is no need to stock many different sizes of FLEX PROTECTORS

Single Wall Piping Applications
  • FP1 products are used to isolate flexible connectionsand are produced in various sizes and configurationsto cover most single wall piping designs.
  • The FP1 product series consistes of a highly flexible heat shrinkable sleeve.
  • Economy and fast installation make the FP1 productseries the best value for a single wall piping isolation.
  • FP1-R products are ideally suited for retrofits and in applications where heat-shrinking is not practical.
