Has larger lip and deeper channel than 18306.
This head is designed for high spoke and low profile tires and offers a larger lip on the inside of the head and deeper channel than the standard nylon head and has recessed brackets to prevent wheel contact and allow high spoke wheel clearance. It includes all hardware needed to mount the head.
This durable but flexible nylon material helps to prevent the duck head from scratching rims while changing tires. When selecting a head for a your tire changer, reference the second picture shown on this page. The stub sticking out of the shaft that holds the head will be either tapered (smaller on the bottom than the top) or it will not be. This head only fits tapered studs.
