OVERHEAD LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY | For Units Less Than or Equal to 250V
This assembly includes the N413-1 Micro switch and the black housing that fastens to the overhead crossmember on two post lifts.
This is a normally open switch, that acts as a kill switch for the lift. It is normally compressed and held in the closed position via the overhead bar. When lifting a vehicle, if the vehicle moves the bar off of the switch, the lift's motor will stop preventing the vehicle from making contact with the overhead crossmember and preventing damage to both the vehicle and the lift.
